Villo Studio was founded in June 2022 in Canggu, Bali — at a time when there were almost no purpose‑built video studios on the island. Most production happened in cafés, hotel rooms, or rented villas with one borrowed camera. We opened the first space designed from the ground up for creators: broadcast‑grade audio, controlled lighting, multi‑camera rigs, teleprompter, podcast booth, and a producer in the room.
The team came together out of television production: directors of photography, sound engineers, editors and producers who had spent years on TV channels and live shows before moving to Bali. That background shows up in everything we do — fast turnaround, predictable lighting, broadcast‑quality audio, and a producer who knows when to step in and when to stay out of the frame.
Three years in, we run more than 1,100 sessions for creators from over 30 countries — online educators recording multi‑module courses, podcast hosts shooting weekly long‑form interviews, brand teams filming product launches, expat experts running late‑night webinars for CIS and EU audiences, and YouTube creators who hand us the channel end‑to‑end. 37% of clients book us again. Our top client has filmed 15 sessions with us.
