We rent professional camera, lighting and audio gear two ways: inside our Canggu studio from IDR 200,000 per hour, or bundled with the crew on a shoot. Our production inventory includes cinema cameras, lenses, lights, audio and support equipment. Tell us about your scene and we will confirm the right kit for the session. We do not hand gear over for take-away rental.

The dollar figures in the catalogue are approximate daily references retained from our earlier equipment guide. They are not current supplier quotes, and Villo does not offer take-away rentals at those prices. A rental-house day rate and a Villo production session cover different things: compare the room, crew, setup time and actual kit as well as the camera body.
Take-away rental
You collect and return the kit. Check the rental house’s deposit, insurance, accessories and return deadline. You also arrange the location and people who operate it.
In-studio self-shoot
Rent the room and select equipment by the hour. Bring your own crew, pay the applicable damage deposit and work in the studio. The minimum room booking is two hours.
Shoot with our crew
Book the service and its agreed equipment package. Our team operates the kit; no equipment damage deposit is required for this option. Confirm any specialist additions in the quote.
A camera in untrained hands is a paperweight
The setup matters as much as the camera
Camera settings, light placement and microphone routing affect the final result. With our crew, those decisions are part of preparing your session. If you operate the equipment yourself, send us your plan and arrange camera setup assistance if needed.
Keep the responsibility clear
Equipment stays inside the studio unless our crew takes it on a booked production. For crew-operated sessions the gear is on our insurance. For self-shoot use, a damage deposit applies; ask for the terms before confirming the booking.

Camera rental questions
Can I rent a camera in Bali and take it with me?
No. Our gear does not leave the studio without our crew. You can rent a Sony FX30 by the hour inside our Canggu studio from IDR 200,000, or book a session with an operator. We do not offer self-pickup or take-away rentals.
How much does camera rental cost in Bali at Villo?
In-studio rental starts at IDR 200,000 per hour for a Sony FX30 with a lens, tripod and card. The studio itself is IDR 600,000 per hour with a two-hour minimum, lighting included. Microphones, teleprompter and lighting add-ons are 50,000 to 100,000 IDR per hour each.
Can I rent podcast equipment only?
Yes, inside the studio. Podcast microphones are 70,000 IDR per hour each and wireless microphones 50,000 IDR per hour. Book the room as well, or add the equipment to an existing studio session.
What if I need one camera without an operator?
Choose in-studio self-shoot rental. The Sony FX30 package is IDR 200,000 per hour, on top of the studio room at IDR 600,000 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Camera setup assistance is optional at IDR 250,000 per hour.
Is the gear list above complete?
It covers the main equipment types listed for our productions. Ask about a specific body, lens, modifier, monitor or accessory before booking. Specialist gear is available on request, subject to availability and an agreed quote.
Do you bring equipment on location?
Yes, with our crew on an on-location production. The equipment is agreed for your package and scene; the entire catalogue does not automatically travel to every shoot. We do not hand equipment over for you to take away alone.
What is the deposit and insurance situation?
No deposit when our crew shoots with you, the gear is on our insurance. For self-shoot bookings where you operate our gear, a damage deposit applies.
Can I see the gear before booking?
Yes. Book a free studio visit in Canggu and tell us which equipment you want to see. We can discuss your camera, lighting and audio requirements before you commit to a shoot.

Can another studio or production team book the equipment?
Yes, for a self-shoot session inside our studio, or as part of a production with our crew. Send the dates, equipment list and crew details for a quote. Take-away rental without our crew is not available.
How do I book equipment for my session?
Send us the date, session length, camera count and the accessories you need. We will confirm availability, the room booking and any deposit or setup assistance. Book at least two hours when renting the studio.
We fire whatever is making your shoot day painful
Equipment collection and return
Keep the kit where the shoot happens. In-studio rental avoids a separate pickup and return journey. For an on-location production, our crew brings the agreed equipment.
