The lighting, audio routing and color science we use for international TV — now in a small room in Canggu, hourly.

Villo Studio is the longest-running podcast recording studio in Bali. Our Canggu space was built from the ground up for podcast and interview content — not a hotel room with a borrowed mic. Acoustic treatment, Rode podcaster mics, Sony FX cinema cameras, Godox lighting, and a producer in the chair next to yours.

Our crew comes out of broadcast television: directors of photography, sound engineers, and producers who spent years on TV live shows before moving to Bali. That background shows up in every session — predictable lighting, broadcast audio, fast turnaround, and someone in the room who knows when to step in and when to disappear.

We’ve recorded for 250+ podcast and interview sessions — long-form YouTube shows, weekly business podcasts, expert interviews, multi-host panels. How much does a podcast studio cost in Bali?

At Villo Studio, our podcast studio in Canggu, Bali starts at IDR 1,250,000 (~$77) for the first hour with one camera, mic, lighting and operator. Two cameras IDR 1,750,000, three cameras IDR 1,850,000. Each next hour is cheaper. Editing add-on starts from IDR 1,200,000 per hour of source footage.

Is there a podcast studio near me in Canggu?

Can I record audio-only? Do I need cameras?

Yes — we offer pure audio recording too. But video podcasts grow 5× faster than audio-only on YouTube and Spotify, so most clients pick 2-camera at minimum. See our audio recording page if you want audio-only.

How many guests can the studio fit?

Two cameras comfortably handles host + 2 guests. Three cameras + extra mics — up to 4 guests. Beyond four, we suggest our larger on-site shoot setup. Each extra guest above 2 adds IDR 300,000 / hour.

Do you do editing too?

Yes — editing is an add-on at IDR 1,200,000 per hour of source for 1 camera, IDR 1,600,000 for 2 cameras, IDR 2,000,000 for 3 cameras. Cuts, sound mix, colour grade, subtitles. 5–7 business days. We deliver YouTube-ready masters plus short clips for social.

Really. Anchor podcasters often record at 21:00–02:00 to match CIS, European or US guest timezones. Producer on shift, all gear active, audio routing tested. Book any hour through the contact form.

What about studio rental without a Villo crew?
