Villo Studio is a wedding photographer team in Bali based in Canggu. We’ve photographed 20+ weddings across the island — from intimate cliffside elopements in Uluwatu to full villa ceremonies in Ubud, multi-day Hindu celebrations to barefoot beach vows at sunset.

Our photographers come out of broadcast television production: directors of photography and producers who spent years on TV before moving to Bali. That background shows up in everything — predictable lighting, editorial-grade composition, and a producer who knows when to direct and when to disappear.

We shoot with full-frame Sony FX3 and A7 IV bodies, GM prime lenses, and a DJI Mavic 3 drone for aerials. All gear is duplicated — no single point of failure on your day. Whether you’re planning a 200-guest celebration or a private vow exchange just for two, we tailor coverage to your day.

Bali elopements are the most intimate kind of wedding we shoot — and often our favorite. We’ve photographed elopements at Karang Boma cliff (Uluwatu), Tegenungan Waterfall, Nyang Nyang Beach, and private villas across Ubud. Each location asks for different gear, different light, different timing — we plan all of it for you.

How much does a wedding photographer in Bali cost?

At Villo Studio, wedding photography in Bali starts at IDR 4,000,000 (~$250) for a 2-hour elopement and goes up to IDR 16,000,000 (~$980) for a full-day, two-photographer wedding. Travel fees may apply for locations outside South Bali.

Do you cover pre-wedding shoots in Bali?

Yes — pre-wedding sessions are one of our most-booked services. We shoot at Tegalalang rice terraces, Tirta Empul, Lempuyang Temple (“Gates of Heaven”), and any private villa or beach. Half-day pre-wedding starts at IDR 6,000,000.

What gear do you use?

Full-frame Sony FX3 and A7 IV bodies, GM prime lenses (35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4), Godox AD200 flashes, and DJI Mavic 3 drone for aerials. All gear is duplicated — no single point of failure.

Can you also film the wedding video?

When should I book my Bali wedding photographer?

Peak season (June–September, December–January) — book at least 6 months ahead. Off-season (Feb–May, Oct–Nov) — 2-3 months ahead is usually enough.
