So I really get the studio for 600k IDR per hour?
Yes. 600,000 IDR per hour, minimum 2 hours = 1,200,000 IDR for a basic 2-hour booking. That's the room, lights, AC, wi-fi, backdrops and self check-in. Off-hours (before 9 AM, after 7 PM) — +30%. No deposit, no card hold.
Why the 2-hour minimum?
Setup, breakdown, backdrop changes and AC stabilisation eat into the first hour anyway. Anyone who tells you they shot a "real" session in under 2 hours either didn't get a real shot or worked in a hurry. The 2-hour floor keeps the studio honest about what's achievable.
What's NOT included?
No camera, no microphone, no tripod, no operator, no editor. Studio-only is exactly that — a clean professional space. If you need any of those, jump up to Studio + Operator (Rp 1M/hr) where a Sony FX3 + lav mic + operator are included.
Can I bring more than 2 people in?
Yes — up to 6 people in the room comfortably. Larger groups (panel discussions, casting calls) — let us know in the booking note so we can have extra chairs ready. No surcharge for extra heads.
Are the lights actually professional?
Yes. 2× Aputure-class LED panels with softboxes. Daylight (5500K), dimmable, big enough to key a person evenly. They're not the 600d Pro from our service tier — but they're what 90% of indie shoots actually need.
How does self check-in work?
A lockbox at the entrance. Your booking confirmation includes a one-time door code tied to your time slot. You arrive, punch in the code, the door opens. The code expires when your slot ends.
Can I add an operator if I change my mind?
Yes — but you book that as a separate Studio + Operator session (Rp 1M / hr). The operator and the gear that comes with them aren't sitting on standby for studio-only renters.
What if I damage something in the room?
Normal wear and tear (a footprint on the backdrop, a chair scuff) — on us. Damage from negligence (broken light, ripped chromakey, water on the floor) — billed at replacement cost. We've had ~5 incidents in 2 years; it's not a frequent conversation.
Where exactly is the studio?
Canggu, near Berawa beach. Full address arrives with your booking confirmation. Parking for 1 car / 4 scooters out front. 5-minute walk from the main villa zone.
What about Sundays / public holidays?
Available — same rate. Booking calendar is open 24/7. Off-hours (before 9 AM, after 7 PM) carry the +30% surcharge regardless of day.

A 4-hour minimum at the next studio over
Most casting calls, product shoots and self-tapes finish in 2 hours. We charge by the actual time you need, not by what's convenient for the studio.
A $500 deposit on your credit card
No deposit, no card hold for studio-only. The room is the room — break less than $50 of stuff and we don't charge you a cent extra.
Booking 3 days in advance for a slot
Calendar is online and updates in real time. You can book a slot 2 hours from now if it's open. Same rate.
Driving to Denpasar or Sanur for a "real" studio
You're already in Canggu. We're 5 minutes from Berawa beach. The same wall, the same light, half the commute.
