● Where we shoot · across the island

Four kinds of locations we shoot every week

On-site shoot at a private villa in Canggu
Type A · Villa & Residence Interviews and course episodes at your home

Your private villa becomes the set. Soft natural light, your own bookshelf in the frame, your guest in their slippers — we handle cameras, sound and light around you.

Brand video shoot at a Bali restaurant
Type B · Restaurant · Hotel · Brand Brand video for your business

Restaurants, hotels, surf schools, retreats. Interior shots, the chef at work, smiling faces of your team — wrapped into a 60–90 second hero film for your site and ads.

Event video coverage on Bali
Type C · Event & Conference Coverage of conferences and launches

Three cameras: stage, audience, backstage. We capture the keynote, the panel and the side conversations — and deliver a recap film plus 5–10 social cuts within days.

Outdoor music video shoot at Bali rice fields
Type D · Outdoor & Music Video Bali in the frame: cliffs, rice fields, sunset

Music videos, fashion lookbooks, retreat trailers. Drone, gimbal, on-location sound. We know the spots, the wind windows and the golden hour by heart.

Three on-site films from a similar location

Tell us what you’re shooting (villa interview · restaurant promo · event recap). We send 3 real examples on WhatsApp within an hour — you’ll see the level before booking.

Free 15-minute location call

Drop a Google Maps pin and a few photos. We jump on a call, look at the light at your shoot time, flag the risks (wind, traffic, glare) and tell you exactly what crew you need.

02 / What you get

A studio-grade kit on your doorstep

→ 01

A full mobile kit — nothing for you to rent

Cameras, lights, mics, tripods, gimbal, monitor and batteries — all loaded into the van. You provide the address and a power outlet. If there’s no power, we bring a silent generator.

→ 02

The same Sony FX3 cameras we use in the studio

Cinema-line bodies in 4K up to 120fps. Same look, same color science, same files — whether we shoot at Villo or at your place. No “DSLR friend with a lens”.

→ 03

Clean audio outdoors and inside

DPA lavaliers, a boom mic and a field recorder. We capture clean voice next to the ocean, on a busy street, or in a glass-walled villa — wind-shielded, monitored on headphones in real time.

→ 04

Independent of the natural light

Battery-powered Aputure LEDs, diffusers, reflectors, negative fill. Midday sun, dim villa, sunset — the face on camera looks the same. The shoot doesn’t depend on the weather.

→ 05

Raw files in the cloud — same evening

Footage uploaded to Google Drive / WeTransfer by the time we’re back at the studio. Your editor can start tonight. No “next week, when we get to it”.

→ 06

Optional turn-key edit

Add editing as a package — a hero film for your site plus 5–10 vertical cuts for Reels, Shorts, TikTok from the same shoot. One call, one invoice, one delivery date.

03 / Sound familiar?

You need a shoot — but not in a studio

“My guest flies into Bali for three days. There’s no way I can drag him into a studio for two of them.”

A guest expert is on the island for a few days — pulling them into a studio just isn’t happening
You shoot your online course from your home office and the room actually looks better than most studios
You run a restaurant, hotel or surf school and need a hero film + reels for socials and the website
You’re launching a conference or evening event and need three cameras, no improvisation
You’re shooting a music video and need real Bali — cliffs, rice terraces, sunset, not a green screen
Last time you hired a “videographer” they showed up with one DSLR and no separate sound — you got wedding tape, not a brand film
You don’t want to rent gear, find an operator, hire an editor and a sound engineer separately
Your speakers are expats — you need a crew that directs comfortably in English and Russian
04 / Process

How a shoot at your place actually goes

Core Job 01

Interview or course episode at your villa

01

Drop us the address on WhatsApp

A Google Maps pin and a few photos of the room. We assess light, sound and logistics within an hour.

02

Pick a date in the calendar

Online slot booking — no back-and-forth. Confirm the deposit and you’re locked in.

03

Crew arrives 45 minutes early

Operator + assistant. Lights up, cameras framed, mics levelled — by the time you sit down, it’s all dialed in.

04

Shoot 1–3 hours of clean footage

You talk, your guest talks. We watch the levels, the focus, the frame. You don’t look at a single screen.

05

Raw files in the cloud — that evening

Send them to your editor before bed. The episode goes live on schedule.

Core Job 02

Brand film for your restaurant, hotel or business

01

Brief us on what you sell

Audience, brand mood, where the film will live (site hero, Meta ads, IG reels). 20-minute call is enough.

02

Quote and shot list within 24 hours

Locations, key shots, crew size, gear, half-day or full-day. You see the price before anyone shows up.

03

4–8 hours on location

Interior, the process, the team, the customers. Drone shots, gimbal moves, key product close-ups — all in the same block.

04

A 60–90 sec hero film + social cuts

One landscape master plus 5–10 vertical Reels/Shorts edits — ready to upload across all your channels at once.

Core Job 03

Coverage of an event, conference or product launch

01

Send us the run-of-show

Schedule, list of speakers, key moments to catch (keynote, panel, awards, after-party).

02

2–3 cameras on site, one hour early

Stage, wide audience, roving operator for backstage and reactions. Wireless mics on the speakers, ambient on the room.

03

Shoot the whole event end to end

Including B-roll: arrivals, lobby, sponsor signage, the small details that make the recap feel real.

04

A recap film + 5–10 social clips

A polished 90–180 sec recap for next year’s sponsor deck, plus short cuts for socials within a few days.

05 / Logistics

07 / Doubts

Still have doubts?

How far on Bali do you actually travel?
The whole island. Canggu, Seminyak, Denpasar and Sanur are at standard rate. South Kuta (Uluwatu, Nusa Dua), Ubud and the Bukit get a small transit fee. North Bali (Lovina, Munduk, Amed) — custom quote, but we go.
How much does an on-site shoot cost?
From 1,000,000 IDR per hour, minimum 2 hours. A typical brand or interview shoot lands around 4–5 million IDR for half a day with one camera and full audio + lighting kit. Bigger productions (multi-cam events, multi-day residences) we quote per project. You see the price before anyone shows up.
How long do you need to set up at the location?
30–45 minutes from arrival to “rolling”. We need access to the shooting room before that — keys, gate open, parking sorted.
What do I have to provide besides the address?
A regular 220V outlet, parking for one minivan, and access 45 minutes before call time. That’s it. No furniture, no lights, no mics. If there’s no power, we bring a silent generator.
Can we shoot at night?
Yes — for evening events, late-night webinars or sunset-and-after music videos. Off-hours bookings carry a 30% surcharge and need at least 9 hours of advance notice.
What if the shoot is on the beach or somewhere wild?
We do that constantly. Wind-shielded mics, weighted tripods, sand-bagged stands, ND filters for harsh sun. We scout the wind windows and the golden hour for your specific spot before we book.
How many cameras do you bring?
1 to 3 — your call. 1 camera for an interview at your villa. 2 for a podcast-style conversation. 3 for events and multi-angle brand shoots. Adding a camera adds an operator.
Can I book just one hour instead of two?
On location, 2 hours is the minimum. Loading the van, driving across the island and rigging gear takes about as long as the shoot itself — anything shorter doesn’t make commercial sense for the crew.
Do you work in English?
Yes. The crew works in English and Russian. Most of our clients are expats — directing your guest in their language is the default, not the exception.
What happens if it rains?
For indoor shoots — nothing. For outdoor shoots, we move the slot to the next golden hour with a clear forecast. No re-shoot fee if we cancel because of weather.
Do you fly drones?
Yes — DJI Mavic, anywhere airspace and local permits allow. Aerial coverage is an add-on on top of the standard rate, quoted per shoot.
08 / We fire

We fire whatever’s compromising the brand

A wedding photographer “who also shoots video”
Wedding pacing, wedding lenses, no separate sound. Brand films and interviews are a different craft entirely.
A friend with a DSLR who said yes for a beer
One body, one lens, no boom, no light, no edit. The result lives in your drive forever and never on your homepage.
Renting gear and finding an operator separately
Three rental shops, two phone numbers, an editor on Upwork. One missed handover and the shoot collapses.
Dragging a guest into a studio they don’t want to visit
Their villa is more comfortable, more on-brand, more on their schedule. The conversation is better when they don’t have to commute.
“We’ll just shoot it on an iPhone, add music, it’s fine”
It’s not fine. The first 3 seconds of a brand video decide whether anyone watches the next 60. iPhone footage signals “DIY” faster than anything else.
A fly-in production crew who landed yesterday
They don’t know the wind windows on Bingin, the police checks on the bypass, the golden hour at your specific cliff. We do — we live here.
